AJ Connect is supporting a leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractor, our client has an exceptional pipeline of works secured through various frameworks. Due to this, they are looking to add multiple Quantity Surveyors to their team.

To be considered, you should possess the following essential criteria:
- Degree in Construction
- Experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of JCT & NEC Forms of Contract
- Sound Commercial Awareness
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High levels of organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent numerical, IT, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to travel frequently to sites as required
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, on a new project being awarded in Glasgow of 150m in value with a mixture of building and civils. you’ll monitor progress, control costs, prepare valuations, and engage with customers and third parties. You’ll also be responsible for risk management and dispute resolution. With excellent communication and negotiation skills, you’ll advise on legal and contractual issues and supervise and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors.
