Salary: £33,000 – £44,000 DoE

This role is based in Teknek’s head office located behind Glasgow Airport. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record of B2B Marketing and ideally international experience who is driven to make an impact maximising the effectiveness of digital marketing in a highly specialised sector.
  
This role requires an experienced and confident marketing professional who enjoys a fluid working environment. The ideal candidate will challenge the organisation and shape their own success.

Responsibilities and Main tasks:

  1. Digital Marketing Channels: Responsible for managing and implementing digital marketing activities including web, email, search, e-commerce and social. Lead the development of Teknek’s new corporate and regional websites. Measure and report on key performance indicators.
  2. Event & campaign delivery: Champion planning and delivery of events including overseas conferences and trade shows, new product launches, distributor forums, targeted promotional campaigns, and customer delight initiatives.
  3. Brand voice and visual identity: Working closely with the Marketing Manager and regional teams and liaising with external agencies, adapt and tailor brand message, content, and delivery channels to reach target customers in identified markets more effectively.

Accountability and Objectives:

  • Manage company website and social media channels.
  • Conceptualise marketing programs that deliver sustainable increases in sales and margins.
  • Contribute to customer segmentation and profiling activities and future “buyer enablement” plans designed to increase lead generation and online sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking overall responsibility for the company’s website and social media channels.
  • Measure and report on clearly defined performance metrics
  • Devise social media strategy and lead implementation including internal training
  • Manage and optimise search advertising campaigns including organic and paid
  • Assess and report on competitor digital platforms and campaigns
  • Support customer segmentation, profiling, and value proposition development
  • Lead & create marketing campaigns for both new customer acquisition and retention programs in conjunction with CX. Take overall responsibility for content generation.
  • Provide administrative support for trade shows, distributor meetings, roadshows etc.

Skills and Experience Required:
Qualifications & Attributes

  • 3+ Years in a wide-ranging marketing role, ideally with International Marketing experience
  • Marketing qualification (CIM preferred) or equivalent degree / experience
  • Proven track record of driving lead acquisition and sales growth in a B2B environment
  • Experience of managing and developing digital channels including web & social
  • Content development (excellent written English composition essential)

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Fluent in Chinese, Japanese or Korean
  • Technical and industrial marketing background
  • Well versed in marketing across different cultures
  • Track record of successful global campaign delivery
  • Good understanding of the digital landscape
