AJ Connect are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Edinburgh.

Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk,
Location: Edinburgh
Contract: Temp for 6 months 
Rate £13.00 PAYE. 
 
AJ Connect is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that suppliers are paid correctly and on time. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Managing incoming supplier invoices
  • Matching invoices to bookings
  • Processing invoices on the accounting software
  • Supplier payments
  • Raising queries and dealing with queries from suppliers

 
Skills & Qualifications:
 

  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Experience using MS Excel and Outlook
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
