Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk,
Location: Edinburgh
Contract: Temp for 6 months
Rate £13.00 PAYE.
AJ Connect is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that suppliers are paid correctly and on time. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming supplier invoices
- Matching invoices to bookings
- Processing invoices on the accounting software
- Supplier payments
- Raising queries and dealing with queries from suppliers
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong numeracy skills
- Experience using MS Excel and Outlook
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
