Ideally, candidates should be based in the Edinburgh or Fife area for ease of commuting to Glenrothes for bi-monthly marketing meetings.

We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing Content Executive adept at translating intricate product details into captivating, consumer-centric content. This role calls for a strategic and imaginative individual capable of overseeing diverse content across digital platforms.
  
The ideal candidate possesses a talent for extracting and applying market insights to craft compelling narratives and marketing strategies resonating with both B2C and B2B audiences. Collaboration is key, as this role entails close coordination with product development, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive content strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain website and administer product information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Gather insights into customer behavior and buyer personas to develop compelling, bespoke content across various media.
  • Generate creative ideas and craft content for social media, website, and communication materials tailored to target audience segments to attract new customers.
  • Develop product positioning and sales collateral for both B2C and B2B sectors.
  • Plan content to support the launch of new products and services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive content strategy across all platforms.
  • Champion innovative content formats like video, podcasts, webinars, and interactive media to diversify offerings and engage diverse audience segments.
  • Implement SEO strategies and leverage analytics tools to monitor content performance and user engagement, optimizing based on insights.
  • Conduct content optimization and A/B testing to refine strategies and enhance marketing impact.
  • Manage online brand reputation and respond to industry developments to maintain a positive brand image.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in crafting engaging digital content.
  • Experience in developing physical marketing materials such as leaflets, posters, and Counter Display Units (CDUs).
  • Strong written communication skills, including creating compelling sales enablement materials and crafting effective marketing messages.
  • Project management proficiency.
  • Website content and product management experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and third parties.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • CAD software experience and proficiency in creating product renders for manuals, online use, and specification sheets.
  • Video content creation experience.
  • Familiarity with BigCommerce is advantageous.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and practices.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
