Interim Finance Manager opportunity with a Housing Association based in Glasgow to support with Year-End. Must have Housing Sector experience.
Job Title: Interim Finance Manager
Location: Glasgow, hybrid working
Hourly Rate: £25.00 – 29.00 per hour
AJ connect is excited to be representing a Housing Association based in Glasgow to appoint an Interim Finance Manager on a 6-month contract, with the opportunity to go permanent thereafter for the right candidate.
In this role your key focus will support the Finance Director with the Financial Year-end Accounts and all associated activities such as audit preparation, trial balance, accruals, and rent entries. You will also support the wider finance team with monthly payroll, and other ad-hoc finance duties as required.
Due to the volume of work within the finance team, you must have demonstrable experience of Year-end within a Housing Association setting.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting and producing Year-end accounts
- Trial balance
- Rent year-end entries
- Key point of contact for External Audit
- Producing management information
- Supporting with monthly payroll.
Experience and Skills required:
- Year-end within a Housing Association setting
- Financial Systems, Accounts, and Budgets
- Rent Accounting
- Payroll – wages, salaries, reconciling PAYE
- External audit process.
