AJ Connect is recruiting for an experienced credit controller on temporary basis for 3-6 months.

Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Glasgow
Contract: Full time, Temporary
Salary: £11.50 -13.50
 
AJ Connect is recruiting for an experienced credit controller on temporary basis for 3-6 months.
 
The role will provide Credit Control activities working closely with the finance team and the rest of the business.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Chasing outstanding debts via phone, email and letter
  • Maintaining daily performance spreadsheet for collection / credit control reporting
  • Debtor reconciliations and cash allocations
  • Send copy invoices and credit notes as requested
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records
  • Handle customer queries, disputed accounts and negotiate to collect outstanding payment

 
Experience required:
 

  • Knowledge and experience of working with financial systems
  • High level of numeracy and keyboard skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High level of accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage your work load effectively
  • Pleasant and confident telephone manners
