Salary: Up to £30,000 DoE + a competitive and uncapped performance related bonus structure.
We are looking for a dynamic, talented, ambitious Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong B2C sales/telesales background in financial services to support one of our key clients in meeting their ambitious future growth targets.
Our client is a leading international wealth management, planning and pensions specialist, providing financial advice to British expatriates around the globe, with clients in 58 countries.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact, the BDM must be able to qualify and manage high volumes of prospective clients through to their initial meeting with the advice team – and maintain a high touch relationship with those individuals until they have successfully completed their client onboarding process efficiently but professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify and convert high volumes of new business enquiries from prospective clients (in multiple time zones) generated by ongoing digital marketing campaigns.
- Quickly establishing trust and developing relationships with prospective clients, providing high touch contact to support their end-to-end progress through the advice and onboarding journey.
- Managing calendars and diaries across international time zones.
- Working in our Edinburgh Head Office with the Director of Marketing to actively develop and execute an ambitious client acquisition growth plan.
- Achieving KPIs and meeting commercial targets.
Key skills and experience:
- An excellent communicator, the successful candidate will be an effective ambassador for the business, consolidating our client’s reputation and capable of quickly building strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and colleagues.
- Demonstrating an outstanding work-ethic and attitude, the successful candidate will combine a pragmatic hands-on can-do approach with a strategic commercial awareness.
- Maintaining an absolute focus on meeting and exceeding key performance targets.
- Experience in a telesales or telemarketing role or similar environment.
- Evidence of working in a similar role with demonstrable success in meeting exacting targets and delivering growth.
- Experience of Salesforce, XPlan or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
