Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary 6 months +
Pay rate: £13 – £14 Per hour
 
AJ Connect has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Representative to join a growing global business who are now looking to strengthen the finance team in Edinburgh.
 
This position plays a crucial role in the daily upkeep of accounts payable, taking phone calls from vendors and, ensuring invoices are entered into the accounting system, and payments are made within an acceptable timeframe.
 
the role will be initially for 6 months but has a real chance of developing into a fantastic permanent role for the right candidate.  
 
 
Role Overview:
 
As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be responsible for

• Processing invoices accurately and maintaining updated records.
• Collaborating harmoniously with suppliers and internal teams to reconcile any account discrepancies.
• Safeguarding confidential information with the utmost integrity.
• Aiding in the monthly closing process and aiding in the preparation of financial reports.
• Proactively seeking and implementing process improvements to amplify efficiency and precision.

• Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable, ideally complemented by proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics. (not essential)
